Rushworths is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Under the Data Protection Act, we must comply with certain requirements designed to ensure any Data you provide us with is processed with due care and attention.

Telephone / mobile numbers
Email address
Education & qualifications
Employment historyMaterial submitted by you including but not limited to your CV / Resume, identification documents (Passport/Visa, where requested by our client), salary/package details and correspondence between you and us.
Material provided at the point of registering with us either directly, through our website or via a job board or advertisement when applying for a specific role. If you contact us we may keep a copy of that correspondence.
Transmission via the internet is not completely secure and is therefore at your own risk. Once received we will endeavour to protect your personal data with strict procedures to prevent unauthorised activity.
Collection, Storage and Use of your Personal Information
By applying for an advertised role, you are allowing Rushworths to gather your Personal Information (PI) electronically in respect of that particular role. We will seek your permission for Rushworths to represent you on behalf of that particular client. As part of our recruitment process and to fully understand your background and experience to match you to a specific role, we gather data from you which includes your personal information (via email, your CV and any supporting documentation or information you may provide).
If you are invited for interview with Rushworths on behalf of our client or to present your credentials on a general basis we will request that you sign our Consent Request form thereby giving your 'Consent' for Rushworths to process your Personal Information. This will only be processed to provide relevant details to support your application to the client, in line with the Job Description.
If we are not able to progress your application, then unless we have your permission we will have to delete your CV and associated data, only retaining your cover email for reference purposes.
Your data is treated confidentially and held securely. We never have and never will distribute your data outside of Rushworths for any other role / or client, without your knowledge and written consent.
Retention Period
We would like to retain your information for a period of 2 years. Thereafter, we would write to you via email requesting an extension to your permission. If you so wish, we could only retain your data for the duration of the assignment you have expressed an interest in, although this could be as long as 6 months.
